Our LTE hub can be installed to ensure a robust and scalable network on your property, including underground parking garages. This saves on infrastructure costs, enables energy load management, and allows residents to easily upgrade their vehicles’ firmware. Direct to cellular is also an option if a strong signal already exists everywhere on site.

SWTCH’s full network management package includes automatic billing. SWTCH bills EV owners directly and returns funds to the property on a recurring basis.

Is sub-metering required?

What fees should I expect to pay?
plus icon

For private charging, residents are charged a monthly network management fee. For community charging, the properties pay a monthly network management fee per port. SWTCH charges a nominal service fee per transaction.

Should we install private or community charging?
plus icon

It depends on EV owner preferences and budget. We’re happy to work with you to understand the particulars of your building and develop a cost-effective, scalable plan for EV charging.

My building has limited capacity. What now?
plus icon

Fret not! We offer load management capabilities to extend your available capacity and limit or delay the need for infrastructure upgrades.

Why does Open Standards and OCPP matter?
plus icon

OCPP is the global open communication standard for EV charging. Think of it like an unlocked cell phone; when you buy hardware from SWTCH, you have choice of network management services.

I'm concerned about loitering in community charging parking spaces.
plus icon

SWTCH can implement loitering penalties to discourage EV owners from keeping their vehicle parked after they've finished charging.
